Well because, I Sam Carter was not something that people would call "mate" material and with too much baggage that I don't let on. So, when my mate told me that he didn't know if wanted me or not because I didn't "shift", I did the only thing I could think of. I left. And, on that journey, I learned more about myself, found some great friends, made some enemies, and learned about so called grandmother that was the same as me. He could either accept me or reject me, and he didn't choose yet. I don't know.
