(Book 2 of Vanished) It's been four months since everyone over the age of fifteen vanished. As food becomes scarce, hunger sets in. People desperate to get even something that wasn't canned around there. Now the real danger has begun. One powerful snowstorm, unlike any storm you'd see in society. When touched by the snow, you get burned. If you inhale the wind, you will become ill with a deadly virus. To make matters worse, the electricity has completely gone out. With the stress of injuries and illnesses, death begins to take a huge toll on their population. It all seems to be the end of everything for them. However, there are unexpected dangers such as people or even actions that may change everything.

You never would've thought a school trip could change everything. (Note that this is written for a female reader :D) ~~~~ Life is normal. You're going to the same school with your triplets, just a couple of "minor" family issues in the background, but other than that, it's normal! You develop small feelings for a new kid, which you know he doesn't feel back because he's in love with another girl... right? Then there's the school field trip. Just a small problem. You find yourself somewhere totally different every night at 12 am. The sky turns red, and the phantoms come out to play.

But soon, they discover they possess strange powers, like the power to read minds, to fly, or to resurrect the dead. And that's just the beginning. None of them knows exactly what happened, and each remembers something different. Now, they are being hunted down one by one, and to survive they must piece together their memories and solve the mystery of the missing time.

Sarah remembers being reborn with amazing gifts. She knows why people were gifted their fantastic powers. She knows why women with powers were fewer and why their abilities were stronger. Sarah remembers how it all started. But she doesn't know why she has other people's memories. Reality had cracked. With her found family, Sarah tried to stop an enemy unbound by time and save a girl from becoming something dark and sinister. All the while she was keeping darkness from taking over her own body. Fate was against them and failure meant the end of the world and possibly the unraveling of reality itself. Were these things destined to happen or was there a plan even their enemy could not see?
