It's just a stupid game ... or at least, that's what Agatha McKenzie thought when she tried her hand at summoning a spirit in her vanity mirror.

Halloween; every child's favourite holiday, apart perhaps from Christmas. Who didn't love dressing up in a costume and gathering a haul of candy to last the rest of the year? Even for those too old to trick-or-treat, there was plenty of fun to be had. Horror movies and costume parties offered entertainment for the older generations.
Agatha McKenzie and her best friends joined a video call, each with a mirror and a candle before them. They all had one goal in mind. Fawn was a practising witch, and she wanted to honour her ancestors for Samhain. It was her idea to ring in Halloween with a seance.
Seven friends peered into their mirrors, Agatha's cloudy with age. Each rested their fingertips upon the frames. They chanted, they shut their eyes, and when they opened them, supposedly they were looking into the eyes of a spirit. It was an innocent ritual, just a bit of fun between friends, right?
One by one, they begin to report strange sightings, sounds, and items going missing. Then, one of them dies. Is it related to the game, or purely a coincidence? If it's not a coincidence, how long do they each have before they face a similar fate?
Agatha only wanted to celebrate her favourite holiday with her favourite people. She had no idea she would come face to face with a demon.
