Essence... spirit... that which gives meaning to life. It isn't the soul which is necessary for life. Even when a mortal has a soul, without essence... the mortal becomes an empty shell existing for nothing. Our father, he created us pure and perfect. He doesn't want us to soil our bodies and so he never gave us body parts for procreation. When we rebelled against him because we wanted to have relationships with our own kind, he had no choice but to allow. But with his decision, we are no longer perfect... but we are still pure. Is it because we were jealous of his other creation that we wished to love and procreate? No that's not the only reason. Perfection can be achieve through completeness. Right now we are like mannequins. I thought that this was the only problem amongst our brethren. Then, some of us requested our father about experiencing rebirth so that they can change erase the accumulated memories from specific essences collected from mortals. The Rebirth System... the main reason for the first war where we fell apart and the second reason why this story exists...

The average human being spends every second of his day fighting against the force of nature to see another day. But I'm different. I'm not afraid of outside forces to take my life away - only myself. Approximately 10 years ago, something happened to me. Something really bad. But I'm not allowed to talk about it. As a way to release my frustration, I give hell to my body and everyone I come in contact with - especially my parents. No one knows about what happened except the ones who did it...and Him. But he didn't stay. Now, he's back and he's not talking either. I want to stop hurting, I need to stop. Make me stop.

I'm a normal person, with an average job and a decent circle of friends. Hello I'm Sasha but it's not important you wouldn't remember if you'd met me and since you haven't then it matters even less. I'm non-existent, a ghost a whisper in the wind that none remember especially those closest to me. So when my invisibility became more actualised I left without remorse and didn't look back. There are more like me of course each with a sad story and a sad power to match it, I have met few but they have all become close friends (some closer than others). So I'm the invisible girl and this is my story. A/N A slightly different take on the usual superpowers books.

I always considered myself a good person, helping others is my ultimate goal even my job shows you that. It was how I was raised by my adoptive father. I am truly loved, don't get me wrong I don't have a massive family but who needs one when you have a loving father and a best friend that's always there for you. I always thought my life was normal, I mean yes some weird things have happened in my life but that's normal well I thought it was until I started having these dreams. The dreams where one extremely attractive man is trying to seduce me which brings the truth on what really going on to light. My whole life changes all of a sudden I am in danger, I find out I been lied to for my entire life and this one guy keeps invading my dreams trying to find me. What the hell am I going to do?

Do you like reading? Good, cuz I don't. I read but it's not my forte. I do it because I have to. Every book follows a specific plot and it's boring. My story involves a series of events that involve my dreams and illusions. A teenager is suddenly stripped from his normal life and given powers along with some of his friends. Most know or think that we came from god. That he mad us half god and half animal. Some humans were able to inherit godly powers and have been chosen through their dreams.

So here I am, telling you my story. But remember, death doesn't define me. You'll find out later what that means. Now, my story isn't some girl, that falls for the hero, or something just happy or sad. I don't know what side I'm on, or if I'm even on a side. But, I'm here, like everyone else. It's been three years since the war between humans and Unknowns began and things are starting to get serious. Although it took a while for humans to catch up, they now have the technology to do serious damage and they're using it to the fullest extent. You'd have to be crazy to risk exposing yourself as an Unknown, but Celeste has never been one to follow the norm. Residing in the Arizona desert with a pack of wild wolves, Celeste doesn't even know what the word 'Unknown' really means until she's thrust into the middle of the action. Reluctant to take part in the world around her, Celeste soon realizes that she doesn't have much of a choice in the matter. That doesn't stop her from keeping a safe return to the wild at the top of her priorities. She couldn't care less about the war, especially when it feels like all people want is to use her for her abilities.
