After training with Pyrrha, Jaune went to bed and had a vivid dream. He found himself in an unfamiliar city that looked nothing like the four Kingdoms. Curious about the strange sounds he heard, he decided to explore the place. As a Huntsman-in-training and an aspiring hero, he couldn't ignore the possibility that someone might need his help. However, when he arrived at his destination, he was shocked to find that the city was overrun by zombies. Jaune remained in the Dreamscape until he woke up in reality. He realized that every time he grew stronger in his dream, he also became stronger in the real world.

She did it. She won. The kingdoms were too late in uniting against her, and Salem achieved her victory. Now you, an immortal friend to both Ozma and Salem must try and keep your group alive in this new world. It's difficult especially with the turned grimm huntress' and huntsman of old, wanting nothing more than to enforce their queen's rule over the small remaining population, and well, to retrieve you, the long-lost love of their queen. The fight to keep humanity alive is becoming more and more impossible as those who are chosen are turned to grimm themselves and those who aren't, well they're food. However, when rumors of a cure begin to spread it brings back that deadly feeling-the feeling of hope.

After crashing into the planet you now know as remnant you quickly realise that you are stuck here forever with your friend. Choosing to settle down in the school known as beacon to train as huntsmen you slowly start to fall in love with the place question is will you last to that point? The dwelling monsters of Remnant, Grimm. Those who hunt grimm are called "Hunters". Diego Coronatus is a 17y old boy from Atlas who decided to attend Beacon Academy to avoid becoming a soldier. Being from a proud line of Atlesians, he can't help but feel that he turned his back on his family's legacy. What if this is his destiny? What if he's destined for so much more? What if his destiny's already clearly laid out for him?
