When someone tries to kill Reed, Dashiell finds himself becoming the prime suspect. To prove his innocence, Reed and Dashiell team up to find the culprit without letting their convoluted past and fractured mate bond get in the way.

      ...

Someone is trying to kill Reed. After only a few months of being beta, the most obvious suspect is Dashiell: the man Reed challenged and beat to gain his position, and his mate. Dashiell swears his innocence, but as the attacks grow and his family starts to suffer the consequences, his only choice is to put his loathe aside and work with Reed to find out who is behind the attacks--all without allowing the feelings he once harbored for the beta to grow.

Breaking the Bond that Binds.

78 parts Complete Mature

The characters in this story aren't your typical Lycan/Werewolf characters. The storyline also takes a few unexpected twists and turns. Virgil is no simpering mate who hangs around moaning about being rejected. It was unanimously agreed, from the moment the Bond between him and the future Alpha Damien struck, that he was an unacceptable mate. He was only 15 at the time, a lowborn, and physically the antithesis of the famous Pureblood Pack. But no one took into account the fact that sometimes, the Bond, refuses to break. Virgil is beautiful, smart, and has a sharp tongue. He doesn't need the pack and he certainly doesn't need Damien.
