One last question?... she smiled and he winked.
Go right ahead, I'm all ears darling... the crowd fell silent. She bit her lip and took a deep breath.

Alice Lowrie shook her head, switched off the tv and stood up, stretching with a wry smile. Hallmark movies, they were bubble gum for the eyes. Entertaining and sweet but ultimately, not the stuff you live on. As she pulled the contents of her suitcase together, she looked at her phone. In twenty four hours she'd be there. In thirty-six, she'd finally meet him. Her hero... her God amongst Men... her Tom. Hers and several thousand others, sadly.
If only life was like a Hallmark Movie....

Feelings

21 parts Complete Mature

Tom and Sophie hated each other. He was rude, loud, and made fun of her. She was spoiled and childish and made him want to be sick. At least, that's what they thought thirty years ago. Then Tom went away to boarding school, and they never saw each other again. Until yesterday. Attending a literature festival in London, Tom and Sophie quite literally bump into each other. Does Emma's big brother still rub her up the wrong way? Does Emma's little friend still make him want to be sick? As the two frenemies reconnect, it becomes clear that feelings are complicated no matter how old you are.....
