Amethyst (AKA Amy) is an independent 16 year old girl who is still overwhelmed by the death of her mother. Ever since her mothers death she had changed. Her family was different, especially her father who has dropped everything and sat in his armchair all day and watched TV, leaving all the responsibilities to herself and her older brother, Jaxon (AKA Jax).
On a normal, crappy Melbourne weathered day, Amethyst made her way to the cafe she worked at and met a boy named Nathan who was the boss's nephew. Nathan seemed like a happy, cocky, teenage boy but Amethyst could tell he was hiding something. Hiding something big.
As if he were burdened with the worlds biggest secret...

Arabella has always felt different from everyone else. She can't remember her childhood and the only thing she can somewhat remember are her two best friends Ryder, and Lily. She goes to a public school in Miami and no one really knows who she is. But then one day, a guy named Carter starts to show interest in her and she doesn't really know what to do. Then he introduces her to Cole which is his best friend. They're both really funny and she enjoys their company. But she feels like she already knows them. They seem very familiar. Max Howell also starts to show interest in her and she gets really confused. No one knows her, why would they? Carter, Cole and Max all share a secret that has been kept hidden for a while. It's the answer for why she feels different. Because she is.
