-=(The sequel to Lost in Lucidity)=-

With their only options being to stick with a dying city that cares little about their lives, or wait in a bunker until the food runs out, Wesly and his group set out for Seattle; a promised paradise functioning entirely without the aid of the government. The drive to the city is only supposed to take two hours, but when the group hits a major snag in their route, they make a decision on how to circumvent it. A decision that has haunting consequences...

With their journey now derailed, it falls on Wes and Valentine to get it back on track and save their friends from the situation they've found themselves in. The problem is vast, however, and it goes deeper than they ever could have imagined. Another mystery to be solved. Another threat that looms over them. And even if they can find a way out of the web they're caught in and reach Seattle, they have no idea if they can get everyone there alive...

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

"Last night, I had a dream the world ended. Half the population disappeared, and unfathomable eldritch beasts shambled out of an unending darkness." In a world with no sun and bloodthirsty creatures roaming the all consuming dark, the only places still safe are the small compounds that managed to get walls up before all came crashing down. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. As the duo begin to pull on the thread and tangle themselves slowly into its snare, they begin to realize there's a lot more to this apocalypse than they ever could have imagined, and that the horrific beasts they've been studying might be the least of their concerns...
