Arthur develops magical abilities in his early teenage years and learns to hide it in fear of his father. Merlin comes along and they both try to hide their magic from the other while simultaneously trying to figure out what the other is hiding from them. Of course, they both need to hide their abilities from Uther, which becomes harder and harder after Merlin is kidnapped by an evil sorceress. All while they struggle to understand their feelings for one another. Set in Season 1, sometime before The Beginning of the End, so he doesn't know he is Emrys yet, but Merlin has been Arthur's manservant for a while. (I don't own Merlin or the characters, just loved the show)

Merlin is hurt by a mysterious man who wants to stop him from doing magic. Now with his magic seriously impaired, Merlin must protect Arthur against a dark druid, while at the same time trying to uncover the truth about a new physician called Emmerich.

This is a fanfiction about Merlin. Arthur and merlin were just on a hunting trip when bandits kidnapped merlin. Arthur is devastated. He is willing to do anything to get merlin back. But then a army attacked Camelot. Merlin isn't himself and he puts the one he loved in danger. Arthur has to stop merlin but how? this is after season 5 but with a different ending and Arthur doesn't know merlin has magic. It's about how merlin turned against Arthur. We pick up right at the last episode of the show however I made a few changes...This work is my own with the addition of a completely new story line that just continues that heart-felt and silly world from the show that we all love. This story is about love and the struggles that we must overcome in the name of it. A lot of Merthur, but I keep it pretty pg-13 so don't expect a lot of smut. Arthur finds out about Merlin's Magic. he doesn't know what else to do and banishes Merlin, much to his friend's chagrin. Merlin is greeted by some old friends who help him become the powerful warlock he is meant to be while providing refuge for all magic beings.

As Uther calls Arthur to speak with him privately, Arthur isn't sure what predicament had occurred between him and his father. Until he gets handed a crinkled letter. The kingdom of Aeyland had just collapsed at the hands of Morgana. The letter explains that several knights are on a quest to find their King and Queen. As Arthur embarks on this journey with several knights from both his kingdom and the fallen, Arthur realizes something extraordinary. The kingdom has a lost prince.
