After The MountainTM, Jaskier gets himself a nice new curse to wear, turning into a werewolf. He's not aware of much, but there is still something telling him to go north, go to the mountains. When Lambert meets the werewolf on his way home, and recognizes him, the witchers are up for an interesting winter.

Or: Geralt never let the bard come truly close, but at the same time never imagined him truly gone. After he's left regretting his words at The MountainTM, he is presented with the bard cursed, and confronted with the result of his actions. Will the bard ever forgive him? And if he did, would that be enough to try and fix this?

My intention was to write about 10k words of fluffy cuddling to break a curse, but then the angst came. This is the result.

Imagining for one moment that the world wasn't always ending and Geralt had never met Yennifer, had never found his 'destiny' and was just a Witcher, day to day, killing for a pay check. What would happen if he met Jaskier under these circumstances?
