[This is a sequel to "When the Flash Fades"]
Harry and Noa were once inseparable, bound by their shared passion for music and an undeniable connection.
Three years have passed, and their lives have taken different paths. But fate-or whatever higher power you believe in-has brought them back together through the very thing that united them in the first place: music. Now, they face a crucial decision. Will they resist the magnetic pull and the undeniable connection that still lingers between them, or will they finally give in to what their hearts have always known?
Here is a little snippet of whats to come:
"So Harry," I bite my lip nervously. "We have stuff to talk about."
"Okay? What is that?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
I take a deep breath, feeling the weight of the words I'm about to say. "Us. What happened between us, and what's going to happen now."
"Hmm, well you're mine and I'm yours."
A smile creeps onto my face. "What?..no." I laugh.
"Yes, Noa," he responds with a firmness that sends a thrill straight to my core. His eyes lock onto mine, and I can feel my heart flutter wildly in my chest.
"But what about Arlo, your album, and... I'm not sure I want a public relationship. There's so much we need to figure out before we can even think about..."
He stops me with a gentle touch on my thigh, sending a soothing warmth through my body. "Whoa, whoa, whoa," he murmurs, his voice calm and reassuring. "I'm not in a hurry. Let's take this slow."
I take a deep breath, feeling a sense of calm settle over me. He squeezes my thigh gently, a reassuring smile playing on his lips.
"Okay," I whisper, my voice barely audible over the pounding of my heart. "We'll take it slow."
His smile broadens, lighting up his handsome face. "Good," he says softly, his hand moving to gently cup my face. "Because I'm not letting go of this, of us. Not now, not ever."
How far would you go to protect the ones you love?
A successful architect with a promising career in London, Brian's world spins out of control when the man he always saw as a second father betrays him in the most unexpected way.
Left without closure, a year has passed and Brian is now more determined than ever to undo the harm done to the ones he loves most, his family. Even if that means riding the thin line between justice, revenge, and obsession...
Immersed in his resolve, finding love again was the last thing on his mind. Until fate steps in and a chance encounter changes everything.
Meeting Olivia again so unexpectedly, at his best friend's wedding, stirs up memories he had long ago put away. She'd been his first love, his kindred spirit - and the woman who left him without saying so much as a goodbye.
Which doesn't make him want her less. He knows it, the moment she locks her deep green eyes on his.
Even knowing it might be too late to repair what's been once broken, Brian refuses to lose her again and sets out to find a way back to her heart. But it's been more than ten years since their story was left unfinished.
Will they get one last chance to make things right? Or will Brian learn that sometimes justice comes at too high a price?
