After leaving Vader a second time, Obi-Wan is given, and takes, the chance to travel to the past to fix his mistakes. He hopes it will be easy. It's not. As the galaxy around him spirals out of control a second time, Obi-Wan captures a newly Fallen Darth Vader and runs away with him. Even if he can't save Anakin, at least he can stop Vader from terrorizing the galaxy again.

Appearing on Mortis from seven years after his Fall, Darth Vader has a chance to change the universe forever. First, he'll enlist the invaluable help of Anakin before setting out on a journey to conquer the galaxy and make it theirs. Unexpected visions of a possible future which are granted to a select handful, throw the Jedi Order into chaos. Anakin is arrested and imprisoned, the Council fearing his power and possible Fall. Months later, he escapes, and Obi-Wan is sent to recapture him, except the Jedi Master finds far more than he expected. Vader (he won't think of him as Anakin) is far from okay.

An accident drops Vader into Obi-Wan's backyard on Tatooine. Literally. With Sidious dead, he can bring his family back together. Perhaps, he can even go to another timeline, to the past, to fix what he can't fix here. For her part, Ahsoka is... more than a little shocked when a Sith Lord and two children appear in front of her while she's on the run in the Underworld.

Killed on Mustafar by Sidious while attempting to rescue Vader, Ahsoka is reborn as Luke's adopted younger sister. She struggles with constantly remembering flashes of her life as Ahsoka as she remembers more about Anakin. More than anything, she wants to find out more about her past, wants to find Anakin again in person but he's dead. Right?

Ahsoka died on Mortis, and Anakin doesn't know how to move on. Except Ahsoka isn't dead. She's still alive on Mortis, having taken up the mantle of the Daughter to preserve the balance, regardless of what she actually wants. And when Anakin remembers, nothing can stop him from going back for her, no matter the cost.

When Obi-Wan goes to see Padme before leaving for Utapau, he discovers a secret. She is pregnant with not one, but two, Skywalker children. The unborn Luke struggles to get his attention, and unintentionally shows the Jedi Master flashes of the impending dark future, one which Obi-Wan promises to avert. If only he knew how.
