One week on to the biggest case the small town of Broadchurch has ever seen, DI Alec Hardy is under a lot of stress and is running out of evidence. A young girl who reminds him of his daughter comes into his life unexpectedly. Alec learns that maybe he does need a hand to hold.

AU - Rose Tyler (who never met The Doctor) has been Broadchurch for two years after deciding to move there after a fallout with her boyfriend and gets a job as an filing clerk at the local Police Station. All hell breaks loose when new DI Alec Hardy, with a grumpy disposition from out of town arrives and everyone is against him, except for her. Will he tell her his secret?

Alec Hardy had no choice but to have his operation after he was forced out of his job in Broadchurch, so before deciding whether to go back or not, he goes on a trip to a small northern Californian town called Gracepoint only to face déjà vu and meet Rose Tyler, who has been sent to form a local branch of Torchwood. Set in the AU.

Following on from 'Rose Tyler's new life', their journey continues as they marry and settle down in a small village just outside Broadchurch and plan to start a family. All is not settled though, there are some surprises, excitement and scares for the newlyweds and the first birthday present that Rose buys Alec Hardy just after they met comes into it's own.

After getting a new case with your boss/ partner Alec Hardy are stationed in New York City to join an investigation of numerous murders around the city. After analyzing a few of the bodies that were found you find they are very similar to those of The Surgeon. Hoping to find out who is causing this you go under cover as a reporter to get information from the infamous Martin Whitly.

Katerina Lovely is the sister of Paul, yes different last names but that will be discussed in the book, anyway she works at the police station with Alec, her whole life becomes a huge mystery when she's found next to Danny on the beach. Barely breathing. When she wakes up in the hospital she remembers nothing of the night before. That's not her only mystery though.

AU - During the trial, Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller return to Broadchurch to find the fair has set up. Reluctantly, Alec stops to let Fred go on a ride and then tries to win him a prize on the darts where fairground girl Rose Tyler thinks the two are a couple. Alec soon corrects her and they quickly fall in love much to Ellie's and Tess's dismay. OCs involved.

Olivia MacDonald, Ellie Miller's best friend since childhood, is back in town and meets Alec Hardy. The two Scots aren't sure what to make of each other at first, but both have had a hard past and seem to be drawn together now. She tells him she's not staying and he goes to get her back after finding out who she really is but will he change his mind when told the truth? She finally finds out she was not abandoned by the Doctor after all.

Rose has to attend a conference about the disappearance of the Cybermen just weeks after she says goodbye to The Doctor at Bad Wolf Bay. She meets Alec Hardy and decides to go live in Glasgow with him. This is their story of how they end up living in Broadchurch. Set in the AU.
