We sat down on a bank and stared at the lighted Brooklyn Bridge from afar.
"Everything is so beautiful here. I haven't seen that lately."
This is the first time in a while where I looked at New York and felt good. It made me feel good. I felt a piece of home again. Almost, as if I had found a missing piece of myself I had lost, months ago.
I turned my head to Noa and saw him lighting a cigarette.
He inhaled it for a second and slowly turned his head towards me.
"June, you loved and you lost. Keep your head up and your heart open, there's worse in life than taking risks and losing.", Noa stated with a soft tone.

June was an average girl in her late 20's living in New York City that desperately tried to be a successful painter. After a hurtful breakup, she thought about moving back to her hometown Philadelphia, to be near her parents and start over again. She packed her things and was keen to leave everything behind.
That idea changes abruptly when Noa came into the picture and tries to show her how beautiful life can still be in New York. Because, there is still so much more.
