Luca, a young sea monster, is overjoyed to be reunited with his best friend, Alberto. The two young monsters are looking forward to another summer full of pasta, gelato, scooter rides, and swimming. But then they are woken up by their screaming neighbor. Apparently, a monster (not the sea variety) is scaring kids at night. After Alberto and Luca volunteer to find out why, one thing leads to another and they end up in another world. This world is full of monsters who have made an entire business out of scaring human children. Luca and Alberto need to both blend in and find a way home. Luckily, they find help in the company's best Scare Team: James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski. But will the boys be able to keep their secret?

Now that Luca and Giulia have graduated, Alberto couldn't be happier. He's ready to make this summer the best one ever! And yeah, he's a little more conscious about how he acts around Luca. It's perfectly normal to want to impress your best friend. And sure, he keeps thinking of really cool things to give Luca, but Luca certainly seems to like them! Nonna Paguro keeps giving him weird looks though. He's not sure what that's about. After being in Genova for what felt like so long, Giulia and Luca were finally coming back to Portorosso for the summer. After what felt like ages, the underdogs will finally be reunited, and most importantly, Luca will finally be able to see his best friend Alberto again. Even with this in mind, Luca just feels weird. Is it his nerves? Is he just anxious? Whatever it is, Luca is feeling something he's never felt before. He just can't put his finger on it. Only time will tell.... Seeing the trailer for this movie got me so excited and pumped up that I couldn't help myself but to write about it! After watching the movie, I felt so happy, emotional, amazed and just...wow. Everything about this movie was just so awesome and beautiful! Annabella, a 14 year old girl who's came down to town to be with her good closest friend Giulia during the summer and to win at the Portorosso Cup race. Coming into town, while chatting with her about the stragity for the race. There she saw two boys I haven't seen before. It dosent seem she's the only one who's new in town.
