Now Kion, his older sister Kiara, her mate Kovu, and Simba and Nala are all heading to the Tree of Life for a peace treaty. Kion is leaving Fuli in charge of the Lion Guard while they are away. This story happens a few days after the episode 'Lions of the Outlands' from season 1 of The Lion Guard. When Kion meets Kovu again, he finds out Kovu isn't as bad as he thought he would be. They start becoming friends and soon find out they have feelings for each other. They keep their relationship a secret since the Outlanders are enemies with the Pride Landers. *Kion and Rani have never met in this story* Kion is the son of Simba and Nala, King and Queen of The Pridelands. Kion is always depressed. Nobody knows why, including his best friend Bunga. Until one day, while trying to save his friend, Kion is seriously injured. Everyone thinks he died. But he survived. He knew he had to tell his family he was still alive. So, Kion walks back to Pride Rock, but while crossing a river, he accidentally loses his balance, and tumbles into the river, carrying him farther from his home. Soon, Kion washes up in the middle of nowhere. Trying to get back to his family, Kion stumbles upon a hurt lioness while on his journey back to the Pride Rock. Her name is Rani. She told Kion about her tragic past, and so Kion asks Rani to join him in his journey back to Pride Rock. She agrees. During the time they ventured together, he soon began to have feelings for her. They escape near death multiple times, meet new friends, and make new enemies. But through it all, Kion and Rani soon to start developing feelings for one another. Part 1 Completed!

Kion and his friends have taken the next stage of their lives and have started having kids of their own. Kion and Fuli are now married and have 2 cubs called Siku and Nyota. When the cubs are born, Kion and Fuli discover that their cubs will start a new guard to protect the Pridelands and to keep the peace but only one is destined to lead. The new guard will come face to face with challenges that will change their lives and maybe even the fate of the Pridelands. Nyota tries to not come between two brothers who have fallen in love with her and Siku is caught in a forbidden relationship with an Outlander but not just any Outlander. Will the new guard overcome their challenges and foes or will the sun set before their adventure has even begun? Read to find out... This is book 10 in my TLG series. For those who don't know what The Lion Guard is, it's a sequel to the movie The Lion King. The Lion Guard is the group that protects The Circle Of Life. The tradition is that the guard has the bravest, fastest, strongest, fiercest and the keenest of sight of all and is made up of lions, but that is about to change. Kion is the second cub of Simba and Nala and was given The Roar Of Elders. What makes this roar so amazing? Well, when you use it the great kings of the past are roaring with the one who possessed this power, being able to throw animals in the air, move huge rocks and other things. Now coming back to Kion, because he got this power he became the leader of the Lion Guard, only that he did not respect the tradition of the members of the guard, having Bunga, a honey badger, as the bravest, Fuli, a cheetah as the fastest, Beshte, a hippopotamus as the strongest and Ono, an egret as the keenest of sight. Later, as you can see in the book, Anga appears, a martial hawk, who will later become the keenest of sight in Ono's place, and he is the smartest in the guard (normally the guard has 5 members and now it has 6, Kion didn't respect the tradition again). They defended the Circle Of Life very well, having Scar as an enemy, yes, you heard it right, but not in the form you think of, but it was made from the flames of a volcano in Outlands.The Lion Guard and the Pridelands had a final battle with him, eventually winning, but it cost him Ono's sight and Kion got a scar that looks like Scar's.Did Kion and Ono manage to heal ?What does the future hold for everyone?You will soon see

The Roar of the Elders isn't the only 'Roar' out there. In fact, there are more. The Roar of Life controls the earth while the Roar of the Elders controls the sky. The Roar of Life can control life itself, creating plants from wastelands, bringing water even in the deserts, and curing all the sick and wounded. Kaia, a young lioness, had inherited the Roar of Life from her master 'The Healer' and with it the power to heal others. When Kion receives a message from the Pridelands stating that Kovu has a serious illness that could kill him and that Kiara is currently depressed by this, Kion and the Lion Guard leave the Tree of Life to find a cure. When Simba tells them about a legendary healer that could heal even a lion on the brink of death, Kion and the Lion Guard set out for this legendary healer. But when this healer turns out to be none other than Kaia, it brings back many memories Kion thought he had forgotten.
