The situation in Portorosso is dire. The once peaceful town is now ruled with an iron fist by Visconti Mercenaries. Led by Ercole Visconti, hunts for Sea Monsters are spreading. When beatstar is seperated from her tribe and family in a terrible rainstorm, she winds up in portorosso where she meets Alberto Scorfano, a free-spirited, independent sea monster who promises to return beatstar to her home by winning the portorosso cup to get a vespa. Human Luca x Sea monster Alberto AU Luca lived in Potoroso with his family and they were very poor but Luca continuing his studies he will work hard to provide for his family one day, as a child Grandma Paguro would tell him stories about the sea monsters, they had treasure, life under the sea and much more even the kraken the ruler and they live in Isla del mare the forbidden island they were all forbidden to go to. One day Ercole the richest man in all Potoroso hired a crew on his boat to help him to go to Isla del mare despite the rumors and Lorenzo decided to go because of financial issues they were having and Ercole was cruel and tricked them to get what he was after the riches of the sea monsters all to himself. But that cause a big problem when they got caught and they were sent back home but they told the town about the deal they've made in order for them to keep some riches they deeply desire they must make a trade, to keep what they desire they must leave someone who they admire, but they must come willingly, Lorenzo told his family and Luca instantly knew what it means and he sacrificed himself to save his home and family. When he got to isla del mare he met Alberto who suddently had a quick liking to Luca and he looks familiar somehow. Ercole plan to still get everything to be more rich even if it means sacrificing others and murder. Luca and Alberto seems to be getting close every day but they didn't know if it is real love or not. But with Ercole's wrath and the sea monsters warning, this might lead to war. And Alberto was having a different kind of change but trying to conceal it. What will happen? What is Ercole willing to do? Are Luca and Alberto really in love? Why is Luca so familiar to Alberto? Will the war destroy everything and everyone they love? Will Luca see his family again? What change is Alberto concealing? His voice was like angels and he was able to get his name out there. He took himself more seriously and decided while Alberto was away he'd take the opportunity and become a singer. A few years pass and Alberto returns home from his schooling to find Luca is off in the world, singing to hundreds of Theatres, bringing in some of the most famous people to listen to him only. He searches for Luca and they instantly click, only this time, now being older they take action in that feeling they once shared for each other. But of course, there's always someone who has their eye on someone else to ruin someone's career. When both are caught they must decide whether they choose to be together or devote themselves to their passions and never be seen in public together. Alberto is still jealous after Luca starts hanging out with Giulia more than him, soon he meets a feral Siren and they both get attached to each other, but the Siren is being hunted and the three friends must find a way to protect her from any dangers... or even some of their own.

After Alberto fell in love and confessed, Luca vanished for six years. Years passed, and the Underdogs find themselves back in Portorosso, but the situation is far from perfect. A lot has changed, possibly too much to make it work.
