(Formally Titled: Sophomore Year: No More J.V - Mighty Ducks [CHADAM])
Marked as "mature" according to the guidelines, as this book contains swearing, minor violence, and mentions of abuse. Trigger warnings are further down.
The Ducks were going into their second year at Eden Hall. Some were excited, some nervous, and some didn't really care that much. Ken was glad he'd survived... And Goldberg was Goldberg.
Surprisingly (at Coach Orion's demand) they'd actually practiced over the summer, so hockey wasn't one of their worries. Well, at least most of them did. Goldberg was still Goldberg.
Charlie and Linda had broken up over the break because Linda had figured out his secret. She was supportive of him, though, and they remained friends. Guy and Connie were still going strong and Gordon was around as much as he could be with his job, so he and Ms. M'Kay were... complicated. He always made sure to make time to come to as many of the Duck's games as possible, hoping she'd be there too.
But not everything was sunshine and rainbows... especially some of the team's home life. What was to come? Could they survive another year at Eden Hall? Could their FRIENDSHIPS survive another year at Eden Hall?
SHIPS: ConniexGuy, CharliexAdam, FultonxDean, GordanxMcKay, LuisxMindy, & LuisxKenny (This will be mainly CharliexAdam)
TW's: Gore (not too terrible, though), anxiety, mentions of physical abuse, swearing/language

Despite all the fear, panic and the voice inside her, Hayden Kendricks still sent that one message to Parker Graham, the university girl offering her a room. After one year of hell, nightmares and pain, she's completely done. She's desperate for a room on the other side of the country with one simple demand; that her host is a female. So when she ends up being a he, what does Hayden do?
During the wait to switch place, she grows quite attached to the care, kindness, humor, simplicity and courage the five boys show her. She grows attached to the stubbornness and love that feed their will not to give up on including her in everything.
So what happens when the paralyzing book of her nightmares once more opens and is read out loud for not only her, but now, also those five boys? Easy. She tries running away again. But...
She underestimates the love that those boys have towards her, because they're willing to do everything and anything, except letting her go. Except letting her remain broken. They're gonna do everything and anything, to Fix Her.
And who knows?
Maybe, despite the lies, the broken hearts, tears, and that one man behind everything, things can get better?
Maybe, the strong love of five boys, each one different from the other, can force its way through the thick walls around Her?
Or maybe...
Fear will end up being stronger than love?
