DUE TO HAVING CAUGHT UP TO THE MANGA, UPDATES WILL BE SLOW!

Play football, they say. It'll be fun, they say.
Well, not in Sano Y/n's eyes. Up until now, he was praised for being what Japan saw as a hope and treasure.
But! Y/n finds nothing but annoyance and boredom in the football he plays at his school. Why, you may ask?
Well, he seems to believe that his teammates lack the abilities to play the football he wants. That being, one where only the strongest strive.
Finally reaching his last match before being able to head to nationals, Y/n appears even more tired with football, so after winning the game, he ultimately decides that he doesn't want to play anymore.
However, a chance is given to him by none other than a peculiar, lanky man with thick black glasses who decides to invite Y/n to a project named "Blue Lock".
Having nothing to lose, Y/n accepts and is cast away to reside in a facility where he encounters many people, either enemies or allies. Nonetheless, enemy or ally, Blue Lock is about being the best. Y/n won't hand the title to others so easily. He wants to fight for it with those he deems worthy. The question is, will he find anyone worthy?

"I don't play soccer, so don't ask."
(Y/N) (L/N), child of the great (F/N) (L/N), former world champion turned coach, was once known as a prodigy in the leagues of soccer, making a name for themselves as they played alongside one of the best clubs in all of Europe.
Yet, the universe always had a way of inflicting equal harm on those it favours. In a freak car accident, (Y/N) lost the two things most dear to their heart: their father and along with him, their reason to play.
Now lacking the motivation that once fuelled them, (Y/N) was understandably distraught when their friend dragged them into Japan's U-20 team. However, this might just be the exact switchup they needed to rediscover their love of soccer.
