Kill Him, Princess. Or Me. [A Short Novella]
14 parts Complete She knew it was forbidden. Yet the knight could not bury her desires for her lord, Prince Victor, in her any longer. "The entire galaxy is counting on me," Tiera insisted, "I can't go against the Koujin laws." Deep down, she was questioning what she truly yearned to fight for.
"Each night," Rui whispered into the darkness, "I lay awake dreaming of a life outside of these kingdom walls." The young princess was an Amothian warrior, born into a sect comprised of a manifold of species dedicated to guarding the vampiric Qivin- humans who can only survive by feeding off the kindness in others, leaving only demented husks behind.
The Koujin believe the Qivin are too dangerous to be kept alive, and crusade to eradicate their kingdom. For her entire life, Rui, too, has felt unease at protecting such predatory people, yet she has never disobeyed her intimidating father, the Chieftan of the Amoth. One day, she meets Prince Victor, and he reveals an alluring, new world to her. But on the other side of the war, Tiera discovers a side of the Qivin that shatters every notion she once held as true.
Together, the two girls journey into a tragic tale.
NOTES:
-Partly written as a dark and violent high fantasy fairy tale. It embodies tropes from Disney movies such as Tangled, Frozen, Snow White, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and more.
-In a mirrored galaxy far, far away, but one which does not speak of Jedi and Sith, the Force enacts its will to carry out familiar events [resembling Machete order].
-Using the list below is optional. The characters can be pictured in any form. If anime's not your thing, feel free to ignore. One way to better picture who the protagonists somewhat physically resemble:
Tiera- Weiss Schnee (RWBY)
Rui- Yuki Kuran (Vampire Knight)
Victor- Akira Hayama (Shokugeki no Soma)
