The Core orders the capture of some humans to experiment on, one of them being Anne Boonchuy. Taken at 7, she escapes at the ripe age of 13, but not without the consquences. In addition to have a permanent connection to the blue calamity gem, she now has 3 frog spirits in her, an unintended side effect from Andrias's experiments. Now Anne must figure out how to get home and to survive in a completely unknown world. At least she's not completely alone, right?

The calamity trio are adults and are doing well, Marcy was able to save up enough money to move back to the US. And the three of them continue to use their metahuman powers to defend both worlds to this day. However, there is someone who has suffered a great deal and wants to settle a score that he has with the Calamity Gods, a very personal one as a matter of fact.
