His name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. 8 years ago, he had to run away from his beloved home Berk because he became best friends with a creature that no Viking should ever become friends with: a dragon. You obey your master, servant." Hiccup Haddock the third, the son of Stoick the Vast, was taken away from his father when he was five years old. For twelve years of his life, he was forced to live with Viggo who works with a group of Outcasts all of which serve a much greater power. Viggo hated the child and took him only to get revenge on Stoick the Vast. He abused the boy, beating him almost to death multiple times, marking him with what he called ownership. Now, he's eighteen years old whose desperate to live his life. With so many people after him, his father forces Hiccup to stay on Berk until he finds a man whom he refuses to talk about. Hiccup begins to suffer from night terrors that make him want to stay along with battling his own mental condition. Things go south again when an unexpected traitor hands Hiccup over to the ones who want to destroy him mentally and physically. Meanwhile back at Berk, Stoick was furious rampaging through his house looking over numerous different maps. He was desperate to find his son. So desperate he would do anything to get him back. Little does he know, that not only the mysterious kidnapper is overly skilled, but also an old friend whom Stoick was best friends with for years.

(y/n) is the son of a fishermen who grew up on Berk alongside his best friend Hiccup. Both went through losing a parent during a dragon attack. (y/n) shares Hiccups inventiveness and tinkering skills which has made the two boys like brothers. Where Hiccup never fit in with his peers, (y/n) always felt like he couldn't escape Berk. Despite being an orphan, trusted by the chief of the village to live alone, he could never truly be free. But, one day soon, he might just soar. This story isn't gonna have a specific reader x character but there will be some romantic stuff between (y/n) and in universe character. Including, as my audience likes to put it, getting laid. A remake of a book I wrote on my other profile -_-FoxyForLife-_- I do not own How To Train Your Dragon. Book 1 of 4 After a war, Y/n and her mother end up on an island called Berk. Young and frail, Y/n meets a boy named Hiccup. Outcasts for their size and stature, both try to prove they fit in a world that wasn't built for them.

Hiccup is banished from Berk for befriending a dragon, a Vikings mortal enemy, rejected for the last time, Hiccup leaves Berk after the Vikings spit on his vision of peace with dragons and he is the only one who knows where the dragons nest is and the monster that sleeps within its mountains. Ten years later, the Barbaric Archipelago has heard of a new tribe called the 'Strike Clan' which is led by Hiccup and the island has become very prosperous for both man and dragons. With the dragon raids growing worse however each village pays a visit to the Strike Clan because they posses one man, that can end this madness. That man is the Dragon Master. However not all the tribes wish for the raids to end, the Outcasts and the Berserkers ally themselves and plot something that spells disaster for both man and dragons. Hiccup and his Strike Clan will protect the dragons to death if they have to, but can they stop the alliance between the two deadly tribes? Or is there something darker lurking in the shadows?
