There are a lot of reasons why people write. For me it has always been like an addiction, a reporting on the world and therapy. People are my greatest inspiration and God created so many variants and flavours that we would always have something to write about or to say. I'm not known for being quiet; I fight for what I believe in and I stand my ground on what I believe to be true and just. But people like me can never do this alone, we need an audience to listen, a support network to carry us, a cause to fight for and somebody to come home to because we cry alone, at home behind closed doors. For my people that has always been a constant in my life and my inspiration like my husband and children, Uncle Louis and Aunt Delphine, Johan Erasmus that gave me my first encouragement and my clients that follow where I lead, forgive me when I faltered and still love me for who I am for those who trust me with their precious copyright, please know that I am grateful and for whom I pray every night. When I get on my knees and thank God for another day it is all of you that I am so incredibly thankful for, my life would be meaningless without you.

Some of these poems eventually became songs and you can hear them on my albums and on numerous other artist's albums. With sincere gratitude to my publisher, editor and loved ones. Being me is exhausting and my guardian angels are on a well-deserved holiday at the moment. I hope that you as reader could take something home to your heart and enjoy a lifetime of memories and observations.

LIFES LONELY ROAD A Poetry Collection Each poem in "Life's Lonely Road" has it's own unique theme based on one of life's many lessons that we all come to learn through our many experiences and dealings. I try my best to capture these in a creative way that is melodious and entertaining while staying true to the fashion of poetry and it's rhythmic nature, During the day were confronted with one situation after another, but sadly there are very few people that delve beneath the surface in search for a rhyme or a reason such things happen, but for those of us few that do, we are presented with an unimaginable insight and understand to lifes inner workings, a perspective that very few people are able to see, disect, and understand as it pertains to life in general let alone their own. In "Life's Lonely Road" I not only analyze all the going on around me but in doing so I do my best to capture this in the form of a poem. All the poems I write reflect either myself and a part of my life, or that of the select few that I hold in high esteem, those comprising my inner circle, my family and friends and what one or all of us have endured or are enduring, things that many of you have endured as well, or will come to face at some given point in life. I hope that this book may serve as a guide along your journey and that by using the knowledge afforded you here you won't make the sames mistakes as all those before you, and better yet that you wont have to travel "Life's Lonely Road" on your own as we now face it together! Thank You for your added support, Nick Masters
