The story begins after the season finale of the fourth season, so to speak my story starts off as the beginning of the fifth season. Erin left Chicago as a consequence of what she did. Jay is devastated that Erin left him without saying goodbye and nobody can cheer him up but life has to go on. I will just go into the past / childhood of both of them a bit, as there are still many things about them that are not known. I do not own any of the original characters!

'𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶❞ OR in which she is reunited with a childhood friend and through him, discovers a new little bar in the city. she was shocked when in that little bar. she found the one thing she swore she wasn't looking for. a love.

"But there's a hope that's waiting for you in the dark You should know you're beautiful just the way you are" Jay's life looks like it's falling apart, and he's slowly losing control. But when his Sergeant and his new partner force him to go to a psychologist, Jay eventually agrees. But what happens when he besides the psychologist, agrees to go to a peer support group? What happens when he meets other people with PTSD? And what happens when his attention is attracted to a particular girl, who finds it more difficult than him to talk about why she is there? Who is she and what will happen when she convinces Jay to make their list? Can they help each other overcome their fears? ! Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language. A few weeks after Jay and Hailey confessed their feelings for each other, and after Hailey recovered from a scary incident. They were back at being partners in work again, but out of work was a different story for them. They haven't told anyone yet, since they knew about the rule that the intelligence unit has, but that isn't the only problem they might have. It was supposed to be a special day for two people until someone goes missing, which leads the intelligence unit to investigate, but when a new case arise, one member of the intelligence unit unknowingly uncovers their past.

This story will be about detective Jay Halstead and detective Erin Lindsay from NBC Chicago PD. This story is about their everyday lives being hero's stopping the criminals of Chicago in the intelligence unit of the 21st district. This story will show the challenges that Linstead must go through everyday at work but also in their personal lives to get to where they want to be. These are not my characters and I do read alot of Linstead fan fiction so if something seams similar to your story I am sorry I am not copying, these are just the ideas that get stuck in my mind.
