Things have been peaceful in Dreamland for quite some time now. Kirby has been enjoying the time off, but for Meta Knight, life has become rather monotonous. Growing bored after the defeat of Nightmare Enterprises, King Dedede decides to find a new source of entertainment- and an answer to a question he'd had for a long while. He hires a knight from another kingdom -Kitsune Reine- to be, essentially, Meta Knight's rival. Not only for the entertainment, but for the opportunity to see his face. "MK!" Lucina chases after him. He tries to run away but she manages to tackle him to the ground. "MK LISTEN TO ME! I ONLY WANT TO TALK!" They both rolled around the floor as they're struggling for dominance and Lucina shouted out questions to MK. "MK, why are you completely closed off of everyone?! This takes place after 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land' 'Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe', where we have confirmation that Waddle Dees can talk. This also means that Galacta Knight may or may not be around, depending on the canonicity of the Morpho Knight fight in 'Kirby and the Forgotten Land'.)
