Tommy yelled into the phone, anger and pent up sadness bleeding through the device, misdirected anger harming the other person. "They're gone Wilbur, they're gone and I-I don't know if-" his body wracked as a cough resonated through his body. "I don't think they're coming back," he whispered the last part, the reality of the single sentence sending his world spiraling. It's Christmas, and Tommy is alone. Until he isn't.

Tommy runs from exile and starts a new life in a new village, ready to start over away from the family that abandoned him. That is until someone he loves falls ill and the only cure is back in the place he left all those years ago... Tommy was known as the school's 'Bad Boy', the 'Troubled Kid', the 'Problem Child' and in extreme cases, the 'Psycho', all because he was different. They're willing to listen to him, to learn about him, but in doing so, realise something is off about Tommy. Is he just a cool kid with an attitude, like Techno? Or is there a secret Tommy's tried so hard to hide. One that would explain his behaviour and frequent injuries. One that would make Tommy a victim and not a culprit. His eyes, usually dull and sad, were ablaze with anger and hatred. He was done with Dream, he was done letting people hurt him, he was done with L'manburg and how much pain that place alone had brought him. "It's a place that only holds sorrow and fear now, Tommy." But he had hoped that L'manburg wasn't a lost cause, that what he had fought so hard for was still salvageable. But he knew that L'manburg was always meant to fall, and they had only delayed it's downfall. "I-I'm sorry Wilbur... I should have listened to you." He whispered out, he knew his brother couldn't hear him but he could hope that his words would travel into the afterworld to reach his ears. "Please forgive me." He wiped his tears away vigorously, looking towards the now-destroyed nether portal. "I'll finish what you started... I'll do what should have been done."
