after their home is destroyed suddenly by an evil drake from the south the dwarfs of erabor are flung into a terrible quest led to reclaim their land led by thorin oakenshield, followed by 13 faithful dwarfs, a single little hobbit, and one very anoyed wizard. Will they reclaim their home or continue to be the bane of the elves and humans?

Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? For the reader, it's a whole new journey in more ways than one. Neither parties want to give up their mate as they are only blessed with just one in a lifetime. As the journey towards the mountain grows more difficult, Thorin and y/n's newfound love is put to the test. When it comes down to it, what will he choose, his love or his gold? Y/n and Bilbo Baggins have officially been welcomed into the company. They have faced the pale orc and now must be prepared to face all the obstacles that come with him. As they grow closer to the mountain and see the change of reason in Thorin's heart, it will be time to decide if they are really up to the challenge.
