A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out. Now the future for any sort of clan rests in the paws of four apprentices. They will need to find a new territory, a new place to communicate with StarClan and, most importantly, cats to form a clan with. Will they survive? This story is set many moons after the great cats during Firestar's time were around. Also, any arcs after the first arc did not happen. Willowpaw has just become an apprentice when things in her clan start to go wrong. Cats are disappearing, and no one knows what to do. Suddenly, her mentor is exiled and Willowpaw decides she has to do something before more cats are hurt.

The clans have always been in great peace. But when Bayclan's leader Dovestar goes missing. Many patrols have been sent out, but no Dovestar. Honeypaw, a newly appointed apprentice has been getting visions of where Dovestar might be. Other cats even from different clans have been getting visions too. Can all the clans trust Honeypaw and these cats to find the missing leader.

The Elemental Territory has been threatened by a largely known rogue clan who has been wreaking havoc. A beloved leader who was destined to save the territory had been killed. It was a prophecy that had gone wrong. When SunClan received another prophecy, it spoke of a hero who isn't what they expected from a notable ancestor of the forest. However, their new lives are far from perfect. Honeyfrost and Blackstorm struggle with their emotions for each other along with their loyalties and duties to their Clans. Falconheart wonders if what he is doing is right, and fears that he may cause the death of another cat. Nightheart begins to dedicate herself more and more to her Clan, and the Dark Forest doesn't approve. Peace between the Clans can't last forever, and everyone is beginning to worry of when a battle, or even a war will break out.
