My first mistake had been re-noticing people in my classes, if I hadn't done that; I wouldn't have re-noticed Tristan Everdeen. I should have known that the moment I had become entranced in those eyes of his-silver, deep, contemplative-that things never would be the same. But of course, I didn't. I can still remember what it was like, before everything changed and my Alpha decided to start punishing me. I remember when I had friends and family and a house for a home. I lost it all and gained my Alphas hate in one single day.

She never wanted this life and yet I forced her back into it. I killed the Dark Alpha, slowly trying to tear his empire apart throughout my miserable years. After everything, I just wanted her to be mine again and I prayed that's what I got once everything was over.

I turned 18 2 weeks ago, not that anyone cared I was home alone in my room when I shifted it's so bloody scary and hurt so much but I had no one there, I realised at that moment that no one loved me everyone thought me and Mason would be mates and run the pack but that died when I turned 15. Book 1 of the Werewolf collection, unless stated these books are separate and can be read in any order.

"You rejected me!! Not the other way around!!" I yelled at him, tears streaming down my face. "I know." He says, he head hangs low. "And I'm sorry. I should never have rejected you." He went to take my hands into his but I turned away from him. Tears were still going down my face. How could he, after all this time, have the nerve to come here. He knew that he had hurt me. Now he is sorry and wants me back? No. "Please. Believe me. I messed up big time! I didn't know what I had until it was gone!" He said. I heard every word. They cut through the wall of my heart and placed themselves on it . It hurt. But what he did to me had hurt even more. "That's right. You screwed up. Consider me lost." I said. Then I walked away.

Secrets and lies were never a part of my life. Until, that is, I met him. Then, everything changed. Or, maybe things were always messed up, and meeting him just brought clarity to the obvious. He says we're meant to be together, but I don't even know who I am anymore. He says he will always protect me, but he doesn't understand the pain that I've faced in my life. Werewolves used to be the villains in fantasy that I read growing up. The wolf who chased after Red. The wolf who blew down the little pigs' houses. Now, I'm told that they're real, and I am meant to spend the rest of my life with one.

Born a hybrid, walking around alone as you are the last one of your kind alive but then one day everything changed one day i fount out i had a mate and he's also an Alpha. Never intending to found love or even family they found me and that's when everything fell silence.
