The third Lightning War had ended; the destruction, death toll and more were in numbers that many could scarce believe. Dark Lord Voldemort had finally been defeated; at the hand of one Lord Harry James Potter. Peace was restored and their community had at last earned a reprieve.

Yet, it was not to be.

Harry Potter, barely twenty-two, had seen his share of horrible atrocity. He understood that not all could be righted from the moment of the war's end; yet, that had not stopped those he once cared for from trying to force him to be something or someone he wasn't.

It had only caused grief that made him distant to them; and then the new war came. One he had tried hard to avert and to warn of...yet, no one heeded his pleas. No one remembered his instincts for these things, and it had cost them.

Dearly.

With no other options left; he left the world he knew behind and travelled back farther to the past. Doing something he never imagined himself doing. Hoping to avert the war he ended and the one after. Hoping to change the world for the better; for those who deserved it, and to ensure those who were callously lost would have a chance.

"Oh my love," Voldemort sighed. "Aren't you tired of this endless running? You don't look well. All this writhing in the dust like a hunted animal doesn't suit you." Harry struggled against the binds keeping him in place, his breaths coming out in sharps pants as he twisted away from his touch. He's a monster, he reminded himself, forcing himself not to think about how gentle he could be with him. How much he missed his touch. You need to run from him, run far, far away. You are in the middle of a war! "I'm tired of chasing," Voldemort continued, stepping closer to Harry's struggling form. "Of indulging this little game of yours. Let's stop pretending there's anywhere you could run where I would not find you." He paused in front of Harry and knelt down, a hand reaching out to caress his cheek possessively. "Let's stop pretending you want to be anywhere but my arms, hmm?" "Go to hell!" Harry spits, jerking away from his touch. "I'm not yours!" "And that, my love, is where you're wrong," Voldemort said with a crazed smirk. "Nothing, not even death, could keep me from you. You always have and always will belong to me!" |.-.-.-.-.-.-.-| Voldemort had finally won. He defeated the light and gained control over Magical Britain, and in the process, he had lost everything. As he remembers how he met, fell in love with, and ultimately lost Harry Potter, he realizes that in his greed, Voldemort had ruined everything that ever mattered to him. But when new information comes to light, it's a race against time to bring Harry Potter back from the dead and reconcile their relationship or risk losing the love of his life forever... ...Even if it means getting help from what's left of the Golden Trio.

--- "I could do anything for you. I'd die for you, Rosie," Harry said, his voice low and sincere as he looked into your eyes, his shimmering emerald gaze reflecting a depth of feeling that made your heart race. "For me?" you replied, staring directly into those promising eyes, searching for any hint of doubt. "Yes... since the day we met," he continued, his tone gentle yet firm. "I've been unable to resist myself from you. I love you, Rosie." He held your arms softly, grounding you in that moment, and you felt the world around you fade away. Who could say no to those beautiful eyes? "I love you too, Potter," you whispered, a smile breaking across your face. After years of battles and heartaches, the air between you crackled with an energy that was undeniable. --- In this world, Harry Potter and you (Y/N) had just returned to Hogwarts after defeating Voldemort, now eight years in Hogwarts .Both of you had been betrayed by those you once loved, but something had shifted between you two in the aftermath of the battle-a bond forged in shared pain and resilience. You were a quiet force at Hogwarts, a student since your third year, often keeping to yourself aside from your close friends Hermione and Ginny. Though you interacted with them, you maintained a respectful distance from others. Your remarkable magic played a crucial role in Voldemort's defeat; a single spell from you had turned the tide, saving Harry from the Death Eaters. Then came the marriage law that swept through the wizarding world, binding two broken hearts together and forever altering the course of their lives. --- Warning - Hurried Romance, No smut and heated scenes, Really short. And only fluff with no arguments or whatsoever. I'm not proud of this story but okay. ---
