Izuku and his older brother have to deal with their drug addicted parents. That is until they get separated. His older brother, Mikumo, goes with their grandpa; he decides to just focus on studies and become a doctor. Izuku eventually is put at a group home for only boys until he is finally released, able to live with his grandma and his mother. Things don't go as planned however, because Izuku winds up homeless. Because of this he tried everything he could think of to try make his mom's or dad's quirks work but absolutely nothing did. As he was slowly pushed away by everyone except for his mother, he had no one, no friends or anything, because of this he gained the hobby of drawing to help him cope with the loneliness. Years passed by and he finally accepted that he was quirkless and because of that everyone all but increased in the bullying making Izuku even more isolated.
