Bella, she has a hard past, with her religious family, abusive father and so much more. So she runs away and lives on her own. One day she witnesses these doctors make this concoction that turns people into zombies. After she witnessed that her while life along with the while world changed. she needs to figure out how to survive in this new world. After being on her own for some time, she comes across people. Which is hard for her considering she never was able to be around people. Shes not a people person. Shes a closed off, strong willed, lone wolf. Shes needs to learn how to survive with the dead walking around. Will she be able to survive with the new people she's going to meet? Will she be able to protect herself and other with her past on her shoulders? Read to find out.

Finding themselves stranded in a zombie apocalypse, the eight friends realize they have very little chance of survival. They rush to quickly get out of town and to what they think might be safety. But little do they know that no where is safe. It seems like things only get worse at every turn. Everyone is physically and mentally exhausted and it's all they can do not to give up. Will they survive against the odds? Or will they join the apocalypse?

It is about students who are stuck in their school due to and unexpected virus spreading across the country. They have to get out of there before the virus becomes uncurable and can't be contained. Note: No relation between characters here and real life people. A war that spanned years, fighting the undead. For one unwilling group, it all started for them as a simple day at school. Finding each other by pure incidence, they band together and survivor the world they were thrusted upon. It started as living day-to-day, scavenging what they could and helping each other. But they were not alone in this world. As time went on, the dead became the least of their worries. It was the living that tormented them, forced them to shed their humanity and become something they no longer recognized. To avoid being killed they must kill first. They had to become the very thing they feared as children. Without an end in sight, fighting was all they knew to do. Never to hope they would become part of something bigger than survival.

The school started off as any other school year for Autumn Winters. But at the worst possible moment an outbreak occured and the whole school turned into chaos. Autumn and her misfit group of friends make it out of the school, trying to fight for their lives as the people they once knew and maybe even loved tried to bite at their flesh. The group met new people and made new friends, as well as making even more enimies as if them all being stuck with eachother wasn't bad enough. The question is, will the group of misfits survive long enough to be rescued from this mess? Or will some fail to survive or die horribly trying?
