"We don't have a Caretaker. We have a Creationeer. And we love her."
~Humanity.

We think we're from here, but are we really? What happened to us before then, and who was involved?

Kit - a young B-Tier Creationeer - didn't want this job.

She's not trained to be an Intelligent Species Caretaker, and yet she's forced to care for the last remnants of a damaged and traumatized humanity by an old, malicious evil.

After carrying us around in a modified to-go habitat bubble for 18K years, Kit wants a vacation, but is hesitant to leave us alone on our new planet she built; Earth. She confides in Pan - an A-Tier Caretaker and Kit's best friend and roommate. She reveals the full story of how she came to be in possession of us and why she can't hand us over to a licensed Caretaker. Pan reveals the tragic truth of the first 10 years of our existence before Kit found us. The new knowledge Ignites a fire in both. So the two young Ethereals come up with another plan that involves the three grad school roommates, Pan, Sid, and Kit, taking us on a long road trip to the Andromeda galaxy for some good old fashioned revenge- justice.

And also Screw Jim.
(warning: Contains strong language.)

Please comment and vote. :) I'd really appreciate it. ^_^

(This idea was born from the second I saw a photo of Earth from orbit showing the glow of our atmosphere and thought, "Haha! We live on a bubble planet." :) )

NOTE:
They're not gods. This is not theology. They don't have all the answers, they're not all powerful, and they can't do everything. They're closest equivalent in a fandom would be like lesser cousins to the Q. In this AU, Humanity knows about Kit. They don't deify her. To them, Kit's presence is normal, tangible, and real. She's always been there.

That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

Her fingers comb through my hair and occasionally, her nails will scratch against my scalp, making my eyes roll to the back of my head. Fuck that feels good. We haven't spoken in some time, and honestly that's not a bad thing. Sometimes words don't need to be exchanged. The fact that we can sit in silence and be comfortable with one another is louder than meaningless words ever will be. I love this. Just being near her, being in her bubble, enjoying her presence. Peace. "Solace?" "Salazar?" "...Do you think we can stay like this forever?" "Forever is a long time, Elias. You might get bored of me." I flip around instantly, head still in her lap, but now I'm able to look at her face. Her gorgeous face that now has a confused look and furrowed eyebrows. She's so fucking beautiful. I can't believe it. I don't understand it. I don't understand how one person can be so fucking... so... there's no words. I physically can't put into words how enchanting she is. She's a fucking goddess, a deity, an eternal beauty who doesn't understand the power she holds over me. "Alex, forever can never get boring. As long as I have you." And I mean that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alex: a girl who is emotionally unavailable due to all the sexual, mental, and emotional trauma she's gone through. Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this. To be honest most nights I think its just an escape from the madness, like a natural sedative it's the only way I can fall asleep in this hell. However I do need to clear my conscious and pay dividend for my demons. I need you to know what happened to me; I need you to know what we have become and what we are capable of. I need you to know why we have chosen to kill each other, why the smell of human flesh lingers in the air like slow roast pork on a Sunday afternoon. Why bodies litter our streets. Why things that seemed to be so impossible happen in front of our very own eyes. Why conformity i this place is the unreal ideas people live their lives by and why I was included into this group of youthful abominations. All of this might be irrelevant compared to what I am about to tell you.
