It wasn't till his master had ended up betraying him in order to protect himself by trapping him in carbonite, where he would be forgotten about for the next few thousands of years. It wouldn't be until he was discovered by a certain task force of Jedi during the late first year of the clone wars that his wrath would be unleashed upon the galaxy once more, to either bring an end to the Jedi, or to the sith.... Rate mature for violence, swearing and sexual content (Lemons included Eventually) scenes of physical and mental torture and gory scenes. Determined to stop Jett's schemes, Anakin and Obi-Wan launch an assault on an ice moon controlled by the Separatists. New intel suggests that they have joined forces with a local band of pirates. The two Jedi Knights lead the first wave, with Commander Tano, Captain Rex, and select members of the 501st following, attempting to secretly infiltrate the base and destroy it. However, the plan backfires when their gunship is shot down, leaving Ahsoka, Rex, and the survivors of the crash stranded with dangerously plummeting temperatures. Anakin, Ahsoka and the 501st and the Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 212th crash land on a frozen wasteland and find a girl frozen in ice and she is still alive. But there are dark secrets that might be brought back into the world, that would destroy it from the inside out. Palpatine overestimates the hold of darkness over Anakin (which might have or not faltered during the battle on Mustafar) and thus makes the mistake of sentencing him on overfeeling the (intentionally) augmented and excruciating pain during the inhuman long surgery. Sidious too blind and power hungered, insists it continues, as more pain will make his apprentice more force powerful and the perfect slave of rage and darkness. Only, the pain was far greater than anything that could matter and Anakin, for yes, he was still Anakin Skywalker at that point, was seeking to end it. End it all. Ahsoka and Rex have been together for almost a year now, through many hard times like Umbara for instance. No body knows about them... except for Cody and Kix, who swore they wouldn't tell a soul. In this story I will try to include ideas from the reader as well. Disclaimer: I do not own anything except for the plot, I'm writing for fun so if things are inaccurate I apologize, and this is a fanfic about Rexsoka and for story purposes Ahsoka is 18 almost 19 and Rex is 24 (12). Also, mild language. And (yes, I know. Lots of disclaimers, but people are confused) this doesn't fit the original timeline. Ahsoka never left and Anakin doesn't turn. It's a happy story because these characters need that.

Ahsoka died on Mortis, and Anakin doesn't know how to move on. Except Ahsoka isn't dead. She's still alive on Mortis, having taken up the mantle of the Daughter to preserve the balance, regardless of what she actually wants. And when Anakin remembers, nothing can stop him from going back for her, no matter the cost.

A couple of months after Ahsoka leaves the Order, Anakin meets an orphan girl they discover is force-sensitive.
