My village in a word; Sturdy, it's been here for seven generations but every single building is new. We have fishing, hunting and a charming view of the sunsets...the only problem are the pest. You see most places have mice or mosquitos..we have...DRAGONS. My Name is Hiccup, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the III, I am the son of the chief of Berk, Stoick the Vast. Hiccup is banished from Berk for befriending a dragon, a Vikings mortal enemy, rejected for the last time, Hiccup leaves Berk after the Vikings spit on his vision of peace with dragons and he is the only one who knows where the dragons nest is and the monster that sleeps within its mountains. Ten years later, the Barbaric Archipelago has heard of a new tribe called the 'Strike Clan' which is led by Hiccup and the island has become very prosperous for both man and dragons. With the dragon raids growing worse however each village pays a visit to the Strike Clan because they posses one man, that can end this madness. That man is the Dragon Master. However not all the tribes wish for the raids to end, the Outcasts and the Berserkers ally themselves and plot something that spells disaster for both man and dragons. Hiccup and his Strike Clan will protect the dragons to death if they have to, but can they stop the alliance between the two deadly tribes? Or is there something darker lurking in the shadows?

Astrid is about to get married, and everything in her life seems to be falling into place. However, when it comes to arranging the paperwork, things get thrown out of order. It turns out that Astrid is already married. To her ex-best friend: Hiccup Haddock. In order to marry her fiance, Astrid must get a divorce from Hiccup. The only problem is that she hasnt spoken to Hiccup in 3 years. And things between them did not end well. Returning to her old hometown, Berk, Astrid is determined to get that annulment, meaning that she has to agree to Hiccups terms before he is willing to sign: to stay in Berk for 3 months as his slave. Can Astrid get the annulment? Or will she even want to?

Ragnar still spends most of his time trying to keep stubborn Vikings alive only now he's doing it on dragon back and away from Berk. He's a fully trained healer now and life on Dragon's Edge is definitely going to give him plenty more experience. What starts off as a seemingly simple adventure to explore new lands and find new dragons soon uncovers a plot that may be bigger than all of them. With new allies and new enemies both, trouble seems to follow the Riders everywhere they go. Ragnar knows things are changing. He knows something big is coming. He also knows Hiccup needs to stop being so reckless but, at this point, that one's more hope than anything. Seven young adults living on their own island with basically no supervision. What could possibly go wrong? This is a sequel to my story 'Tip the Dragon Scales'.

Ragnar spends most of his time on Berk just trying to keep stubborn Vikings alive through dragon raids, the occasional wave of sickness, and (most often) their own recklessness. His best friend, Hiccup, happens to be one of the most stubborn and reckless Vikings on the island and he proves it when he does the impossible during an otherwise normal raid. Ragnar watches with a smile as events unfold and everything starts to change. After all, he's been telling Hiccup for years to stop trying to fit in with their 'traditional' ways. If things aren't working the way they are, then he just has to tip the scales in his favor. Who could have known all it would take to change everything was one scrawny Viking and an injured dragon? Well, Ragnar knew and, really, it's Hiccup's fault for not listening to him.
