When Arizona moves to New York with her daughter Sofia to be closer to her ex-wife Callie, she knows things may get complicated. She also knows what's best for her kid and she is willing to try and make it work between the two of them. What she doesn't know is if Callie wants to start things up again or if she'd rather just keep co-parenting.
This is a story about relationships, family, motherhood, friendship and all of the things in life that it's worth fighting for. Mostly, it's about love. Callie and Arizona never really stopped loving each other, we all know that. So the real question is: will love be enough?
~
This story takes place in New York after Grey's Anatomy season 14 finale. It includes characters that belong to Shonda Rhimes and others I made up.

"I want to be with you, Arizona, because you are the woman who shows up. [...] I want that. I want the person who will come back to me, no matter how messed up things get, no matter how hard we fight or hurt each other. Because I don't believe we are done. We are not done fighting, we are not done hurting and we are not done having to apologize for it, but we are also not done loving each other."
"I vow to love you, Calliope, in every way it is possibile for a human being to love another human being [...]. I vow to love you enough to stay [...]. I vow to love you enough to put your happiness before mine and my love for you before anything else. I vow to love you enough to be there, to be present, to show up, to encourage you, to lift you up when you are down and to lay down with you if you don't want to be lifted. I vow to love you so much that I will try to breathe for you if you need it, that I would give my life for yours at any time and that, no matter what, I will keep loving you."
Arizona has 2 daughter's and a son, all with her previous wife, Callie. Callie has moved to New York, leaving Arizona in Seattle. She meets neurosurgeon Amelia Shepherd, who also has a daughter, and quickly starts to realize she wants her. Who knows if they will get a happy ending.
