After coming back from his mission from the wave Naruto and the rest of team 7 including his rival assume Sasuke Uchiha and his crush Sakura Haruno were informed by their sensei Kakashi that only one month until the chunin exams had come up Sasuke gets trained by Kakashi because of his newly awakened sharingan, Sakura gets trained by the sensei of team 8 Kurenai Yuhi, and Naruto gets stuck with Ebisu. It was then the 3rd Hokage after hearing how Naruto wanted to get stronger decided to send him with Ebisu to the capital at a fire temple where the fire nation's bodyguards reside and where Naruto is officially reborn.

The war was successful, and they won. Sasuke returned to the village, and Naruto and Sakura both made their dreams come true. They had families, and children and they were happy. Even so, something has changed, the 7 Hokage is not what he used to be. "Naruto, why are you so... cold?" "You don't know, Uchiha?" Sasuke Uchiha, broke the heart of the blonde, no, not only the heart, he had been destroying him for years, as well as the village and its inhabitants, until they finally crossed the border and the blond was never the same again.
