Ringo had never wanted a woman as badly as he wanted her.
"Wha's your name, luv?" He asked her as she handed over her record to be autographed.
She smiled at him. "Melissa."
He stopped his pen, poised just a mere millimetre above the record sleeve. "I'll sign this if you give me your number."
Melissa blushed and giggled. The girls in the cue behind her gasped. One or two began to cry. "Well I definitely want this record signed." She teased as she took a piece of paper from the table in front of them and the pen from Ringo's hand, scribbling a few digits down before she gave the pen back to him.
Ringo signed his name with a flourish and handed back the record, waving the piece of paper with her number on it at her. It was a silent promise - 'I'll call you'.

Something

Something by Bianca Angelien Aban Claveria "Paul, looking embarrassed, took the seat next to John facing me. He kept his head slightly down, as he made himself look busy, sending a text message to someone. I just looked at him with pity, trying to hide my grin. As John and Ringo were too busy over their drinks, Paul slowly lifted his gaze at me and looked at me with a blank expression in his face. I felt my body stiffen, as I felt myself giving in, as that blank expression slowly turned into a warm and heart pounding smile. It’s so not fair." --Lucy Rediscover the Beatles in an entirely new and modern perspective, and relive their songs and masterpieces in this romantic-comedy that every die-hard Beatle fan could truly relate to.
