Being Harry Potter's twin sister came with it's challenges. It wasn't until Harry's fourth year that you were introduced to the Wizarding World. Quite late seeing as your brother had the privilege to attend first. However, the biggest surprise had to be being sorted into the Slytherin house. Stories untold, secrets hidden, love that is scared to be born amidst all the events happening. Choosing your friends wisely seems to be the priority your brother has set as a standard. Warning: As the story progresses there will be mature and dark elements mentioned. Feedback is greatly appreciated and I would also love to see what you guys think about the plot as it progresses. Emily Potter is not as well known as her little nephew Harry. Emily was only six years old when James and Lily were murdered. Everyone was sure that James' parents weren't going to have another baby, until Emily came around. James loved Emily with all of his heart, so when his parents died, he took her in. Emily lived with Lily and James, and eventually Harry, until the day James and Lily were murdered, then everything changed. Emily was sent to live with James' friend Remus Lupin, as Harry was sent to live with Petunia and Vernon Dursley. Remus cared for Emily as best as he could, considering he didn't have much money to raise a child. Emily loved Remus; seen him like the older brother she had lost. Like her nephew, Emily became friends with Weasleys, but her Weasley friends were Bill and Charlie. When Emily was of age, she still hadn't heard much of her nephew. Remus didn't even tell her that he was still alive until she was almost fifteen. She missed the boy, though she had only really known him for a year before James and Lily were gone. Emily wanted Harry taken in to her care once she was of age, but Dumbledore would not allow it. He believed Harry was safe with the Dursley family. So, Emily left to Romania with Charlie, but not for the same reason as Charlie. While Emily lived in Romania with Charlie, she did not follow the same career path. Charlie worked with dragons, and Emily decided to be a babysitter for wizards and witches. The money was great, which made her wonder why Dumbledore believed she was incompetent of raising Harry. She wanted him to have the best, but she'd never be able to see him. When she does finally meet him once again, not everything is going to be all sunshine and rainbows...

Y/n Potter just found out that she has a brother. He is supposedly the chosen one. She was expected to study at the same school as Harry, hoping they would band together to kill the dark lord. She was slated to be on the good side, to help the Order of the Pheonix. Hoping to connect with the only living family she had left, she was excited for her new year. Fucking terrified but excited nonetheless. Harry seemed like a legend, the brother she's been waiting for. Letter after letter, she longed for the day with her brother. But that hope dwindled once she was placed in the Slytherin house. Without the support of her brother, she was pushed to befriend none other, but Draco Malfoy. Draco Malfoy found himself being kind and caring for the first time in a long time. (Update every day, with however chapters I want.) Edit: I will be going through each chapter and editing them.
