Laine Parker went to school with Steve since they were eight and was a Navy SEAL alongside him as well. The two were like siblings and were best friends. Almost a year after Steve starts the Five-O task force, he recruits Laine for his team. She reluctantly joins, excited to work alongside her friend again. Unexpectedly, she starts to fall in love with Steve's partner on the task force, but she's afraid that he'll break her heart like her last boyfriend did. After Rachel broke his heart a second time, Danny didn't know if he could ever find someone that made him happy again besides his daughter Grace. Almost immediately after meeting Laine, Danny starts to fall in love with her, but he doesn't know if he's fully ready to leave Rachel behind. The Five-0 team was at HQ when they got a call. A woman heard gunshots and a scream. As the team gets to the scene, they discover the whole house is trashed and ransacked. When Steve walks further into the house, he finds a body. Steve gets down on one knee and feels for a pulse. Surprisingly, he feels a faint heart beat. "Guys!" Steve yelled, "I found the body, and she's still alive!" __________________________________ Amy didn't know how she got in the hospital, how she wound up with stitches and an IV in her arm. Frankly, Amy can't remember anything that had happened to her. The only thing she remembers seeing is blood. As Steve tries to help restore Amy's memory, the two seem to get closer. As this new relationship starts to bloom, the two can't help but fall for each other. But, as Amy's memory restores, someone seems to get closer. Amy gets closer to the identity of her shooter. And that person will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen. Maybe this time, they'll make sure she's dead.

While working a case in Florida with the FBI's BAU. SSA Arizona McGarrett receives a call from the Honolulu Police Department in Hawaii notifying her of the death of her father.
