Kara walks into CatCo like a casual day expecting everything to go on as usual. But to her surprise she finds out someone bought CatCo. That woman was nine other than Lena Luthor herself. She also happened to take a liking to Ms Danvers bit the only problem is that she's never been one for relationships. So deciding she's going to get what she wants she proposes friends with benefits. Note: In this story I decided to make Kara power free. So Kara Zor-El is just Kara Danvers.

"Who ever thought, a Super and a Luthor working together?". Kara lands herself a new job as caretaker for the Luthor's. She's to take care of their youngest daughter Lena, who's been forced to move back in with her mother after a devastating explosion at her job, causing multiple fatalities and her brother's incarceration, nearly killed her too. That's been a year ago and physically, Lena is fine, but she has a severe depression and needs someone to look after her. That's where Kara comes in. During her time with the Luthor's she slowly finds out there's a little more going on, though.
