After finding out her friend had died, Jasmine Dogwood runs away from her problems. However, out on the road, her car breaks down and forces her to walk to the nearest home. There, she meets a psychotic man named Sam who calls her Rose after the dead roses in his backyard. 

Doctors believe Sam isn't real and send Jasmine to a psychiatrist who prescribes her carcinogenic pills.

Finally having to admit that she can't do it herself and faces vulnerability by doing so. She endures love and heartbreak but only she can save herself.
