  Saotome Mary had always regret and felt bitter about failing to save her dear friend Hanatemari Tsuzura in her first year at the prestigious Hyakkaou Private Academy.
  
  Because of that she has always loathed the insane housepet system they were under, but ironically had ended up resorting to take advantage of it anyway just to distract herself and push her bitter feelings to the side. 
  
  So when fate suddenly decides to introduce her to Mibuomi (Y/N), she feels the need to take her down and get back at her for what her brother put all of them through before, no matter what.
  
  But in the end, it seems like fate had other more interesting reasons for having them cross paths after all. 
  
  Falling for the girl she was so dead set on taking down, just how ironic can she get?
