On their journey to figure out the mystery of the black rocks that have been plaguing the Kingdom of Corona lately, a group of friends find more mystery, old friends, and best of all, love. Join Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Pascal, Max, Lance, Varian, Ruddiger, and Altair as they end their adventure differently than you would expect. Hi! I'm Hope, and I'll by your narrator for this story. Now, I have no clue what happens, as my Dad has forbidden me from reading ahead as I am just as prone to give out spoilers as Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo are. Couple of disclaimers, uh, everyone except Altair, Mia and the other characters in this story that you aren't familiar with if you've watched the show belong to Tangled: The Series. Basically, it's a really, really good spin-off of Rapunzel's time in Corona between Tangled, and Tangled Ever After. It involves plot-twists and astounding character development and a tremendous amount of heartache for a kid's show. Selina and I highly recommend it. Altair belongs to the amazing Tumblr user and artist @shima-draws. Selina asks of you to check her out, she's a-mazing. Every other character mentioned in this story belongs to Selina. A Cassarian Story Varian always knew that he cared for Cassandra. But he didn't realize how much until she was gone. Six long years after Cassandra leaves Corona, she finally returns. But they discover that a terrifying creature there is the source. Nothing is known about this being dubbed the Angst. All hope seems lost, until a journal that once belonged to Abhu's long-lost father sets them off on a whirlwind journey to collect four special orbs in different locations. The goal? Uncovering an ancient mystical cavern that could show them how to defeat the Angst. Will they succeed? Can they work together? Will Cassandra ever reciprocate the love Varian feels for her? All of Infinity lies before them...

This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. I'll likely take a lot of inspiration from other fans too and I think that's what's great about vat7k, we all inspire each other with our ideas! :) This is probably gonna be a long one, hope you enjoy!!
