At just fifteen years old, Blaire Thompson thought she had it all. Living in Alberta, owning a fancy stable and competing top level dressage with her mare, Blaire was happy. She lived for competing and loved every second spent around horses. And then something changed. Her mother, unhappy with Blaire, began to put to much pressure on her. Second place was never good enough. Blaire HAD to win first. But Blaire didn't like this new way of living. She began to dread her lessons and competing. Finally, after a blow up with her mother, Blaire packed a bag, stole some money, food and ran.

Anger on her mind, she purches a cow pony to get back at her mother, knowing she never approved of western events and takes to rhe road. Shortly after, by chance, she finds herself at Fire Forest Stables, where she takes up the job as an exercise rider. Then, a chance of a lifetime comes up. The chance to travel around North America, stopping at each rodeo and competing. Eager for adventure, she packs off with her new friends on the journey.

Will Blaire ever remember how much fun riding used to be?

Being the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon and a professional model meant that everything was handed to her on a gold plated platter, even if she didn't want it. With her pedigreed horses and world-class riding instructors, Eves life revolved around horses. However, Eve is constantly under the watch of her parents' critical eyes with expectations of nothing less than perfectionism. To top everything off, Eve had learned that people always try to use her for her status and money. Eve believes she'll never meet a decent person who could look past her wealth, someone she could maybe call a friend. ...Then she meets Ashleigh Ashleigh Sutton is Eves polar opposite. Rocked by her parents' crippling divorce, the only thing Ashleigh seems to have left in her life is her love of horses and a passion for riding. Ashleigh feels as if there is nobody in the world who can look past her less than desirable home situation and be a true friend. ...Then she get's a job at Eves stable. Working all summer in exchange for riding lessons and showing opportunities seemed like a dream come true for Ashleigh and having a group of people her age with the same love for horses seemed perfect for Eve. Some people are born to be on the back of a horse, Coralee Dutton for one. She's the youngest daughter of John Dutton's older brother Benjamin. John inherited the ranch because he was a rancher while his brother wasn't. There are no hard feelings, Benjamin is happy with his life and the brothers have a deep love for each other. Coralee has been showing horses since she was young and has gotten quite good. She started as a barrel racer and is now into reining horses. She is at the ranch because John wants to buy her a top quality horse to show and he's asked Travis Wheatley to bring some to the ranch to show her. Beth Dutton has always hated Coralee. Coralee is younger and prettier and resembles the tragic Elsa Dutton. She hates Beth's drinking problem and tries to stay out of her way, drunk or sober. She believes Beth is unstable and that only makes it worse. Travis has had his eye on Coralee for a long time. He wants to go out with her, hell, he wants to sleep with her but she means more to him. He's a playboy and a rogue and he knows it, but maybe he could change his ways if she just gave him a chance. He's older and feeling the need to settle down and Coralee could make him change his ways. For those of you who know my writing, I rarely try to include events in the original story, to me that's not creating it's copying. I noticed this when I wrote my Mummy story. To me that's kind of cheating. So, you can this story "based on" Yellowstone if you like. Travis is a character in the story and since Rip and Kayce are basically taken, I used him. Also, there are a lot of Rip or Kayce stories here, I wanted to write something else. Readers: I know ranching, I know horses, I studied equine science. Our instructor used to hire us out to his friends to drive their cattle for them. I participated in a cattle drive celebrating the San Antonio trail. This made this story more fun to write

Reagan Renne Walker left the tiny town that she grew up in in Wyoming five years ago to fulfill her dream of opening an equine therapy ranch in Montana & to start a new life. Reagan's parents died when she was just seven years old. Mallory, Reagan's older sister, was still too young to care for both herself and her sister. As a result, Reagan and Mallory were forced to live with their grandparents. Mamaw and Papaw Walker sent both girls through school and college. Reagan never imagined leaving Wyoming. However, after her unexpected relationship with Swayde, her childhood best friend, and love of her life, took a turn for the worst, all Reagan could think about was that she couldn't get out of Wyoming fast enough. Swayde is your typical, rugged cowboy. His smile was enough to melt any girls heart, his eyes made it seem like the sun was always shining, even in the worst storm, his square jaw line accented his dark beard, his body thick with muscles. His physical features and build were intimidating at times, and didn't always match his laid back, easy going, gentlemanly personality. Swayde never thought he would fall for feisty Reagan, and even more so, Reagan never thought that she would fall for him. They end up in this unexpected whirlwind relationship, and everything is hunky dory until Reagan finds out a secret from Swayde's past that would forever change the way she looked at him; a secret he kept from her for over ten years. Confiding in her grandma, Reagan finds out that her grandparents knew the secret all along too. How could the people she thought loved her hurt her so bad and keep this big of a secret from her for so long? When tragedy strikes back in Wyoming, Reagan is forced to move back to the town she swore she would never step boot in again, thus leaving her new life in Montana behind. Through God, can Reagan find a way to forgive the people who hurt her, or will she forever consider Alpine Ridge "Heartbreak Town?"
