Set 6 months after Rise of the Guardians and Brave. Set a year after Tangled and How to Train Your Dragon. The guardians and Jack are living peaceful lives watching over the children of the world. But then Pitch Black returns with new allies: Mother Gothel, Red Death, and Mordu. So 3 new guardians are summoned. They are Rapunzel, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, and Merida DunBroch. Pitch and Hans have teamed up to capture Jack and Elsa. Merida, Rapunzel, and Hiccup get dragged into it when the bad guys accidentally stumble into Merida's world and take Merida and Hiccup, and accidentally make a portal to Rapunzel. But the more the merrier! The five are taken to The Chamber of Dreams, an invention of Pitch's. It has various isolation rooms where Pitch's black sand creates things and dampens their powers, crumbling their resolve and spirit. They are put through they're worst nightmares, find each other, and have to put aside their differences and work together to escape.

To escape her unwanted suitors, Merida flees to the island of Berk, the home of her people's most hated enemies. There she meets Hiccup, the misfit Viking, and the two become lost in a storm. They end up in a foreign land where they encounter Rapunzel who has been locked away in a tower and Jack Frost, the invisible deliverer of ice and snow. Unbeknownst to them, Merida's and Hiccup's homelands are being conquered by a dark man called Pitch Black. As he travels down to the Southern Isles, Pitch begins to amass an army large enough to take over the world. Should he conquer the kingdom of Corona, Pitch will become undefeatable . . . or will he?

Jack Frost was sent to find some new guardians, when he found the perfect ones all together in a tower hidden inside the forest. He finds a red headed girl, a guy with shaggy brownish or blackish hair and a girl with long blonde hair, all he had to do was convince them, they're gonna have to train at North's place a lot if they have to defeat Pitch, who is by the way trying to crush children's spirits again. Can they do it?

After the ordeal with Pitch, Jack learns that 3 other spirits exist, one that was killed in a heroic sacrifice, another was killed on accident, and the last was killed by a madman. Their names are Hiccup, Rapunzel, and Merida. These 3 individuals had their own issues to deal with. And it's up to Jack to teach them, or at least try to. Meanwhile, Pitch Black has some plans of his own, and they aren't looking good for the new four. Jack is a powerful ice Mage, and Pitch wants to use it to his advantage. DunBroch. Ruled by King Fergus and Queen Elinor, one of Burgess's many enemies after a certain incident that happened many years ago....
