Legolas had just arrived back in Mirkwood, only to find out that he was to be wed. The elleth being (y/n) Aredhel, daughter to Lord and Lady Aredhel-two of the most strongest guards in Lothlórien ruled by Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. They are soon sent off in a cabin in attempts to have them familiarize with each other. The two elves soon find out that not all challenges are found on the battlefield and that they had to work with each other to survive.

When Tauriel and Legolas finally realize that they share the same feeling towards one another, Legolas learns that he is to be betrothed to a princess. Will Legolas follow his duty to marry her, or will he follow his heart? Adding to his worries, Tauriel vanishes the same night the orcs attack Mirkwood. What will happen to her? Will Legolas make the right decision to save Tauriel, or will he decide not to?
