Hello! So most of the fanfics I've been reading on here have to do with Magnus and Alec breaking up or one of them dying etc. This one doesn't. Magnus is an English teacher, working in a school. He's worried about someone, this someone called Alec Lightwood. He has been worried about him for a while now and it's not until Alec doesn't show up at school that he doesn't act up on his suspicions, about what's truly going on in Alec's life. This fanfic implies abuse and bullying but it isn't explicit. The bullying is only referenced but the abuse is something they'll talk about a lot. This fanfic also implies a teacher-student relationship, so if this is something you don't like, don't read this story. That's where I realised that by writing Malec stories, I was not only giving myself, but also the rest of the community, a refuge from the anxieties of everyday life. However, I plan to re- write it again because the story excites me and I wonder how I would do it with my current knowledge. If that happens, the original will still be here.
