Yes, it's a Les Mis fanfiction. I love Les Misérables so much and I love all the fanfics I've read so far. So here's my attempt at one - - - 1832 in Saint Michel. A bakers daughter falls in love with a revolutionary. What happens when she decides to follow him to the barricade? Disclaimer; sadly I don't own Les Mis and I also don't own any barricade boy because if I did, they would've survived. The only characters I own are Juliette, her father and her brother. ♡

Two friends, Marius (born in 1810) and Odette (born in 1813), grew up in the life of the luxury. Their wealth never clouded their judgement, and neither did their poverty when the money was stripped away from them. More like they were stripped away from the money. Odette's mother died when she was fairly young, and after her father remarried, he was shortly reported missing after heading off to battle. A cruel step-mother cut Odette out of the life her parents wanted her to grow up in, and she was forced to work in the streets from age thirteen in 1826 till 1829 when she was reunited with her best friend. And now she works to keep herself and her new found family going, whilst fighting. Fighting hard for a better shot at survival. But what if someone is one her mind? Enjolras is trying to lead a revolution but can he keep up with it and keep his new boyfriend happy at the same time? Grantraire is off getting drunk and pulling Enjolras away from the revolution to be with him, but will that put his friend's lives at risk for that? Marius is more confused then ever, finding out his best friend Eponine has a crush on him, but he has already found someone who he loves. Cosette has fallen in love with Marius but will Eponine get in the way of her and Marius being together?

Enjolras has had a crush on Grantaire for five years. And for five years, he's thought about how stupid that is. He knows he has no chance with Grantaire, who spends his days drinking and dating a flurry of women. He isn't even out of the closet yet, and has no real plans to be- until an unexpected encounter with Jehan throws him head first into trouble. - I originally posted this to AO3 but hell, might as well post it here too

I couldn't answer him. I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't think I could really say anything to him. I did not want to face the facts of what had happened, or the consequences I knew were soon to follow. I just wanted to avoid it all. I wanted to deceive the passion that was burning deep inside of me, and simply forget that any of this had ever happened. I wished to pretend that I hadn't slept with Marius, and betrayed Eponine. I wished that it was Enjolras who I truly loved, and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. But I simply couldn't. You can't deceive passion. No matter how much I had wanted to. I couldn't.
